Why I teach Martial Arts.

I stopped training in Martial Arts and concentrated on endurance walking. But I could not ignore all the murders that took place in our country anymore.

Karate was never about the sport to me. I did some competitions as a teen and even won a few fights. To me it was about self defence and fitness. I moved from Goju Karate to Kenpo because it suited my fighting style. I liked the combinations of kenpo and more focus on kumite. When I joined Robert Shook it just made sense in how we should practice. I did some courses in Muay Thai with Muay Thai USA & NESTA to be Certified. The simplicity made sense. Then with Mittmaster we simplified what I teach. The Curriculum is based on Kenpo Karate & kenpo concepts with Muay Thai & Jeet Kune concepts.

I like it to see how the kids grow in confidence.
